You always knew that they were going to make you smile and laugh. Not that that was ever in question: Scarlet was even better in Awry.

aavalon This is definitely not the case here. But she has her own book club so she has a good reason to do that while you have no reason at all.

Currently Reading Jen Jen’s bookshelf: The angst between each of them is so thick, you can cut it with a knife. Twisted and broken it and left me sobbing wrchers aching. You’ve seen nothing – and I’m weighing my words here. So, you did guess that I’ve been highly convinced by all the author’s ideas.

They all banter and bicker, accuse and deflect, grouse and project, but they always make me laugh…and I really, really need that right now. Brooks’ part in things was unsettling but at the same time, I think it was fine since he is so much of a hermit and you find that he is involved in his own way. Overall this book was fantastic.

The tension and the angst! The plot really opens up and thickens as things go on. Tristan goes to war. I do wish some things would have happened and that certain scenes had been extended, but overall, Fine created a flawless portrayal of desperation and impossible-but-all-consuming love, and that in itself is execution enough. Scarlet is becoming stronger, more focused and the hero this story needs.

Let me tell you I am a mess This book has sealed the deal for me. I got arrchers see more of Heather and Nate in Awry, which I enjoyed so much. And after this ending? Oh Man and the drama!

When we first met him in Anewhe was all depressed and gloomy again, with good reasonbut in Awry we got to see the other side to him. I would let Heather dress me and we both would make cracks to Nate about his awesome geekiness. Oftentimes authors tend to rely on cheesy dialogue and unrealistic situations to get them through a complete trilogy, but Chelsea Fine handled this second book with a grace unlike many other unmentionables do today.

I don’t want to repeat myself by telling you guys again how perfect Tristan is so yeah let’s move on to other stuff I really liked the fact that eventually there isn’t really a love triangle going on And he loves Zelda! And it’s all because Tristan and Scarlet broke the rules in her last life.

The ever changing life s and the unraveling of the curse totally build up in this book. Do we have to go so old school? I was yours in the forest zwry I’m yours right here-” Then his mouth was on hers like wildfire, spreading with reckless abandon against her lips. She is strong, brave and is a fighter through and through.
