I thought that the writing garht was excellent. This also means the plot and story line were much more hix forward in Grim Tuesday. Return to Book Page. The second, Grim Tuesday, could easily be read as a personification of industrial progress at the expense of ecology or human rights. The character of Tom is very good. Arthur is wonderfully unique, and his travails always thrill. So take heed, YA fans: I think if you look back at the book you can find deeper meaning in simple objects throughout the book.
